The closest hamlet is only 1.5 km away and offers a mini supermarket, bakery, primary school and 2 bars. The larger town of Casabermeja is only 6 km with access to the dual carriageway for easy access to Malaga airport (30 mins), the Costa del Sol (30 mins),Granada (55 mins), Cordoba (1 hr 30 mins) or Sevilla (1 hr 50 mins).
