Spain still top of the pops for British buyers

A recent survey by OPIC has revealed that Spain is still the most popular destination for British buyers who intend to buy a home abroad.

OPIC offers a service in which they take your requirements for a property abroad whilst you are waiting for your plane to depart one of five UK airports. This service is completely independent of any estate agents or developers and therefore potential buyers are completely honest with their answers and requirements.

This new initiative is proving to be popular as the delays at airports can be very frustrating and this allows people an opportunity to consider their perfect foreign home.

The survey that took place at Manchester Airport found that over 30% of people would choose Spain with the second most popular country (Turkey) coming a long way back with just 7%.
